Lok Bhavan Sikkim celebrated the Gujarat and Maharashtra’s Statehood day at the conference hall today under the theme of ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’.
The celebration commenced with the screening of video messages of Gujarat Governor, Shri Acharya Devvrat and Maharashtra Governor, Shri Jishnu Dev Varma where they highlighted the rich cultural heritage, historical legacy, and significant contributions of their respective states to nation building.
The programme also featured captivating video documentary showcasing the rich heritage, geography and cultural ethos of Maharashtra.
Extending State Foundation Day greetings, the Joint Secretary, Lok Bhavan, Shri Diwas Gautam conveyed his good wishes to everyone and said that both the states made significant contribution to the nation’s economic growth.
Celebrating Statehood Day in Lok Bhavan promotes a sense of unity and brotherhood among the various states and union territories of India.
The programme was attended by officials and staff of Lok Bhavan and ITBP personnel.
केंद्र सरकार की पहल के अंतर्गत आज सिक्किम लोकभवन में भारत की सांस्कृतिक विविधता को सुदृढ़ करने एवं एक भारत-श्रेष्ठ भारत की संकल्पना को आगे बढ़ाते हुए गुजरात और महाराष्ट्र स्थापना दिवस मनाया गया।
कार्यक्रम की शुरुआत में गुजरात के माननीय राज्यपाल श्री आचार्य देवव्रत जी तथा महाराष्ट्र के माननीय राज्यपाल श्री जिष्णु देव वर्मा जी के वीडियो संदेश प्रसारित किए गए। इन संदेशों में दोनों राज्यों की समृद्ध संस्कृति, गौरवशाली इतिहास, महान विभूतियों तथा राष्ट्र निर्माण में दिए गए विशिष्ट योगदान पर प्रकाश डाला गया। इस अवसर पर महाराष्ट्र की समृद्ध संस्कृति और इतिहास को दर्शाती एक विशेष वीडियो प्रस्तुत की गई ।
लोकभवन के संयुक्त सचिव श्री दिवस गौतम ने महाराष्ट्र और गुजरात राज्य स्थापना दिवस पर उपस्थित सभी को बधाई दी। उन्होंने गुजरात और महाराष्ट्र दोनों को अमूल्य संसाधनों से संपन्न तथा महान विभूतियों की धरती बताते हुए देश के विकास में उनके बहुमूल्य योगदान को रेखांकित किया।
इस अवसर पर लोकभवन के अधिकारी, कर्मचारी तथा आईटीबीपी के जवान उपस्थित रहे।
