    Blood donation camp at Raj Bhavan

    Under the visionary leadership of the Hon’ble Governor, Shri Lakshman Prasad Acharya, “Hamro Sankalp: Viksit Bharat Pushpit Sikkim” witnessed a momentous milestone with the inauguration of a mega blood donation camp at Raj Bhavan.

    The Hon’ble Governor emphasized the profound impact of witnessing individuals queuing up with unwavering determination to donate blood, recognizing it as a testament to our collective journey towards a developed India by 2047. This initiative reflects the Hon’ble Governor’s vision of fostering a society where solidarity and compassion prevail, with individuals generously contributing blood to meet the needs of both society and the nation.

    Raj Bhavan’s call to action for the blood donation camp garnered a remarkable turnout of 600 donors, including members of the Indian armed forces, the general public, Raj Bhavan officers and staff, as well as students from schools and universities. Medical teams from various institutions extended their support, ensuring the success of the initiative.

    As a gesture of appreciation, donors were presented with commemorative batches and certificates, acknowledging their selfless contributions towards saving lives. This initiative epitomizes the Hon’ble Governor’s commitment to promoting humanitarian values and fostering a sense of unity and solidarity within the community.
