The Governor of Sikkim, Shri Om Prakash Mathur has greeted and congratulated all the doctors on the occasion of “National Doctor’s Day”.

The Governor in his message said, “On this National Doctor’s Day, I extend my deepest gratitude to all doctors for their tireless dedication, compassion, and courage. Our doctors have served with unwavering commitment, even during the toughest times, saving countless lives. Today, as we honour the legacy of Dr. B.C. Roy, we also reaffirm our resolve to strengthen our healthcare system and support those who heal and protect us. This world is a better and healthier place as doctors work to bring the joy of health and goodness to our lives.

Let us celebrate and honour the tireless efforts of our medical professionals.

अपने संदेश में माननीय राज्यपाल ने कहा, “यह विशेष दिन महान चिकित्सक डॉ. बिधान चंद्र रॉय की स्मृति को समर्पित है, जिनका जीवन चिकित्सा के क्षेत्र में सेवा और समर्पण का एक उत्कृष्ट उदाहरण है।

यह दिन हमें समाज में डॉक्टरों के योगदान और उनके निस्वार्थ सेवा भाव के प्रति कृतज्ञता व्यक्त करने का अवसर प्रदान करता है।डॉक्टर हमारे समाज के वे सजग प्रहरी हैं, जो मानव जीवन को सुरक्षित और स्वस्थ रखने के लिए दिन-रात बिना थके कार्य करते हैं।

एक ‘स्वस्थ सिक्किम और समृद्ध भारत’ के निर्माण में हमारे डॉक्टरों की भूमिका अत्यंत महत्वपूर्ण है।
