03.02.2025 : Under the directives of the Hon’ble Governor a meeting was chaired by Commissioner cum Secretary for the upcoming celebration of 50 years of Statehood Day of Sikkim.

Under the directives of the Hon’ble Governor of Sikkim, Shri Om Prakash Mathur, the Commissioner cum Secretary to the Hon’ble Governor, Shri Jitendra Singh Raje (IAS) convened a meeting with various line departments for the upcoming celebration of 50 years of Statehood Day of Sikkim, today at Raj Bhavan.

During the meeting, the Commissioner-cum-Secretary emphasized the importance of completing several ongoing projects at the Raj Bhavan premises, which will be made possible through the collaborative efforts of all line departments. Mostly, these projects are aligned with the 50th years Statehood celebrations at Raj Bhavan.

The meeting was attended by the officials from the Culture Department, Forest and Environment Department, Horticulture Department, and Building and Housing Department.

The meeting concluded with a commitment from all line departments to ensure the timely completion of the designated projects, in line with the scheduled celebrations marking this significant milestone in Sikkim’s history.
