04.01.2026 : The Chief Minister, Shri Prem Singh Tamang called on the Governor today at Lok Bhavan and extended New Year 2026 greetings and belated birthday wishes.

The Chief Minister, Shri Prem Singh Tamang called on the Governor, Shri Om Prakash Mathur today at Lok Bhavan and extended New Year 2026 greetings and belated birthday wishes. The Governor also conveyed his warm New Year wishes to the Chief Minister.

During the meeting, they had meaningful discussion on issues related to the overall development of the state, public welfare, and good governance.

On the occasion, the Governor and the Chief Minister jointly released the 2026 calendar published by Lok Bhavan, Gangtok Sikkim.

The commissioner cum secretary to Governor, Shri Jitendra Singh Raje and officials of Lok Bhavan were also present.
