04.03.2026 : On the auspicious occasion of Holi festival, the Sikkim Governor, Shri, Om Prakash Mathur has extended his warm greetings to the people of Sikkim and countrymen.

In his greetings, the Governor, Shri Mathur said, “Holi, the festival of colours, symbolises happiness, harmony, renewal of relationships and the triumph of goodwill over negativity. The festival reflects Sikkim’s rich cultural heritage and strengthens the bonds of brotherhood and mutual respect among people from diverse backgrounds where everyone comes together to celebrate Holi festival with great joy.

On this auspicious occasion, I call upon everyone to celebrate the colour of the festival in the true spirit. May this festival of colors bring love, brotherhood, social harmony and fill everyone’s lives with endless happiness and success.”
