The bhoomi pujan and foundation stone laying ceremony for the new building of Late Smt Sajjan Kanwar Chandrajji Mathur Adarsh Vidya Mandir Senior Secondary School being run by Adarsh Shiksha Sansthan, Bali and affiliated with Vidya Bharati Akhil Bharatiya Shiksha Sansthan.

The ceremony commenced with ceremonial puja with chanting of Vedic Shanti Mantra which was held near the Baleshwar Mahadev Temple. This state of the art educational institution is being constructed in the sacred memory of the Governor’s parents, Late Smt. Sajjan Kanwar and the Late Shri Chandraj Ji Mathur. The cost of construction of the school building is to be taken up by the Mathur family.

Addressing the gathering, the Governor became emotional upon visiting to his native village and recalling his parents and said that his native place is the foundation of inspiration in his life.
He mentioned that he has a deep connection with the village, as both his family roots and his birth are linked to this place. He stated that serving his motherland and establishing an institution of learning for the children of the region in the name of his parents was a matter of pride and privilege for him and Mathur family.

He remarked that children are the future of the nation and underscored the importance of imparting strong values, character and quality education to enable them to become a good citizen. He expressed confidence that the institution would play a significant role in shaping young minds and contributing to the overall development of the region.

He emphasized that the progress of any society and nation cannot be achieved through material development alone, but through value-based and quality education. He stated that this modern educational facility, being developed under the aegis of Vidya Bharati, would nurture students from rural areas with both academic excellence and strong patriotic values, enabling them to become responsible citizens of the nation.

The Governor further said that the decision to set up institution was his desire to carry forward the values and ideals imparted by his parents. He added that the initiative reflected his commitment to promoting education and contributing to the welfare and development of society.

On the occasion as the keynote speaker, Rashtriya Mantri of Vidya Bharati, Shri Shiv Prasad appreciated the exemplary philanthropy and visionary approach of the Mathur family. He remarked that this contribution to the field of education would shape the future of several generations and ignite a new era of knowledge and learning in the region.

The programme was attended by the Managing Committee of Adarsh Vidya Mandir Bedal, representatives of various social and political organizations, administrative officials, and general public of Bedal and adjoining areas.

 

सिक्किम के राज्यपाल ओम प्रकाश माथुर ने आज अपने पैतृक गांव बेड़ल में अपने पूजनीय माता-पिता की स्मृति में आदर्श विद्या मंदिर के नवीन भवन का किया शिलान्यास

आदर्श शिक्षा संस्थान बाली द्वारा संचालित और विद्या भारती अखिल भारतीय शिक्षा संस्थान से संबद्ध श्रीमती सज्जन कंवर चाँदराजजी माथुर आदर्श विद्या मंदिर उच्च माध्यमिक विद्यालय के नवीन भवन हेतु आज भूमि पूजन एवं शिलान्यास समारोह संपन्न हुआ।

बालेश्वर महादेव मंदिर के पास आयोजित इस समारोह में सिक्किम के माननीय राज्यपाल श्री ओम प्रकाश माथुर ने मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में शिरकत की और वैदिक मंत्रोच्चार एवं पूर्ण विधि-विधान के साथ नवीन विद्यालय भवन की आधारशिला रखी।
इस अत्याधुनिक शिक्षण संस्थान का निर्माण राज्यपाल महोदय के पूजनीय माता-पिता स्व. श्रीमती सज्जन कंवर एवं स्व. श्री चांदराज जी माथुर की पावन स्मृति में करवाया जा रहा है।

इस पुनीत कार्य की विशेषता यह है कि इस विद्यालय भवन के निर्माण पर होने वाला संपूर्ण वित्तीय खर्च किसी सरकारी सहायता या चंदे के बजाय पूर्ण रूप से माथुर परिवार द्वारा स्वयं व्यक्तिगत स्तर पर वहन किया जा रहा है।

भूमि पूजन के उपरांत उपस्थित जनसमुदाय को संबोधित करते हुए राज्यपाल महोदय ने अपने पैतृक गांव और माता-पिता को याद कर भावुक हो उठे। उन्होंने अपने उद्बोधन में कहा कि अपनी मातृभूमि की सेवा करना और अपने माता-पिता के नाम पर यहाँ के बच्चों के लिए शिक्षा का मंदिर स्थापित करना उनके और उनके परिवार के लिए परम सौभाग्य की बात है। उन्होंने ज़ोर देकर कहा कि किसी भी समाज और राष्ट्र का नवनिर्माण केवल भौतिक विकास से नहीं, बल्कि संस्कारयुक्त और गुणवत्तापूर्ण शिक्षा से ही संभव है। विद्या भारती के माध्यम से बनने वाला यह आधुनिक भवन ग्रामीण अंचल के विद्यार्थियों को शिक्षा के साथ-साथ उत्कृष्ट राष्ट्रभक्ति के संस्कारों से सिंचित करेगा ताकि वे देश के जिम्मेदार नागरिक बन सकें।
माननीय राज्यपाल ने इस बात को भी दोहराया कि समाज के प्रति अपने उत्तरदायित्व को समझते हुए और माता-पिता द्वारा दिए गए संस्कारों को आगे बढ़ाने की दिशा में उन्होंने इस निर्माण कार्य का निर्णय लिया है।

इस अवसर पर मुख्य वक्ता के रूप में उपस्थित विद्या भारती के राष्ट्रीय मंत्री श्री शिवप्रसाद जी ने अपने संबोधन में माथुर परिवार की इस अनुकरणीय दानशीलता और दूरदर्शी सोच की भूरी-भूरी प्रशंसा की। उन्होंने कहा कि शिक्षा के क्षेत्र में दिया गया यह योगदान आने वाली कई पीढ़ियों का भविष्य संवारेगा और क्षेत्र में ज्ञान की एक नई अलख जगाएगा।

समारोह में जिला समिति संरक्षक श्री जानन्दन जी तोषनीवाल, आदर्श विद्या मंदिर बेड़ल की प्रबंध समिति के पदाधिकारी, विभिन्न सामाजिक व राजनीतिक संगठन के प्रतिनिधि, प्रशासनिक अधिकारी तथा भारी संख्या में बेड़ल एवं आस-पास के क्षेत्रों से आए ग्रामवासी उपस्थित रहे।
