04.11.2026 : The Hon’ble Governor of Sikkim, Shri Dushyant Gautam visited PM SHRI Brihaspati Parsai Government Senior Secondary School, Ranipool in Gangtok district today.

The Hon’ble Governor of Sikkim, Shri Dushyant Gautam visited PM SHRI Brihaspati Parsai Government Senior Secondary School, Ranipool in Gangtok district today.

During his visit, the Hon’ble Governor interacted with the school Principal, Smt. Sandhya Sharma, teachers and students.

During a brief interactive session, students had the opportunity to engage with the Hon’ble Governor and put forward their questions. Responding to their queries, the Hon’ble Governor shared valuable insights drawn from his own life experiences, offering the students meaningful perspectives and guidance.

In his address, the Hon’ble Governor mentioned about “I Love Sikkim” slogan and encouraged the students to contribute towards nation-building by first working for the development and progress of the state. He urged students to use their education and skills to address societal challenges and contribute to nation-building, stressing that success should be measured by the positive impact they create in society.

He called upon the students to play an active and meaningful role in India’s journey towards becoming a Viksit Bharat urging them to pursue their education with dedication and sincerity, emphasising that their academic commitment would enable them to contribute meaningfully to the development of the state and the vision of nation-building

He advised students to dream big and keep their ambitions always in their mind to make their parent’s dreams come true.

Earlier, upon his arrival at the school premises, the Hon’ble Governor was accorded a Guard of Honour by the NCC cadets. He also visited the STEM Lab and classrooms.

Senior officials from the Education Department, teachers, and students were present during the programme.

सिक्किम के माननीय राज्यपाल श्री दुष्यन्त गौतम ने आज रानीपुल स्थित पीएम श्री बृहस्पति परसाई, उच्च माध्यमिक विद्यालय का दौरा किया। इस अवसर पर माननीय राज्यपाल ने विद्यालय के प्रधानाचार्य श्रीमती संध्या शर्मा, शिक्षकों और विशेष रूप से युवा विद्यार्थियों के साथ संवाद किया।
कार्यक्रम के दौरान बच्चों ने अपनी स्वाभाविक जिज्ञासा के साथ माननीय राज्यपाल महोदय से जीवन के अनुभवों और भविष्य के लिए मार्गदर्शन मांगा। राज्यपाल महोदय ने बच्चों के प्रश्नों के उत्तर दिए व अपने अनुभवों को साझा करते हुए उनका मार्गदर्शन किया। इस संवाद के बीच, माननीय राज्यपाल ने बच्चों में नई ऊर्जा का संचार करते हुए ‘आई लव सिक्किम’ के नारे लगवाए और बच्चों को प्रेरित करते हुए कहा कि अपने राज्य के विकास के माध्यम से ही राष्ट्र निर्माण की दिशा में आगे बढ़ा जा सकता है।

विद्यार्थियों को संबोधित करते हुए माननीय राज्यपाल ने कहा कि आज के ये बच्चे ही ‘विकसित भारत के कर्णधार’ हैं। उन्होंने बच्चों को प्रेरित करते हुए कहा कि वे एक सच्चे सामाजिक प्राणी बनें। वे अपने माता-पिता, समाज, पर्यावरण और अपने आस-पास के लोगों के प्रति संवेदनशील रहें। राज्यपाल महोदय ने जोर देकर कहा कि विद्यार्थी पूरी निष्ठा के साथ शिक्षा ग्रहण करें ताकि वे सिक्किम के विकास के साथ-साथ राष्ट्र निर्माण में अपना बहुमूल्य योगदान दे सकें।
इससे पूर्व, राज्यपाल महोदय का विद्यालय परिसर में स्वागत करते हुए एनसीसी द्वारा गार्ड ऑफ ऑनर दिया गया।विद्यालय के प्रधानाचार्य से स्कूल में संचालित हो रही विभिन्न शैक्षणिक गतिविधियों की विस्तृत जानकारी माननीय राज्यपाल द्वारा ली गई। इस दौरान स्टेम लैब का भी राज्यपाल महोदय ने दौरा किया जहां बच्चों ने अपना प्रेजेंटेसन दिया।
आज के कार्यक्रम में शिक्षा विभाग के वरिष्ठ अधिकारीगण ,प्रशासनिक अधिकारियों, शिक्षकों, विद्यार्थियों की उपस्थिती रही।
