05.10.2026 :Dr. Sukanta Majumdar, Hon’ble Union Minister of State for Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER) and Education called on Hon’ble Governor, Shri Om Prakash Mathur at Lok Bhavan.

Dr. Sukanta Majumdar, Hon’ble Union Minister of State for Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER) and Education called on Hon’ble Governor of Sikkim, Shri Om Prakash Mathur at Lok Bhavan today.

During the courtesy meeting, they held fruitful discussions on key development initiatives in the state, with special focus on DoNER projects and education sector schemes. They also explored future strategies as Sikkim is an important state in the North Eastern region.

The Union Minister is currently in Sikkim on his two day official visit.

अपने दो दिवसीय आधिकारिक दौरे के तहत केंद्रीय उत्तर पूर्वी क्षेत्र विकास (DoNER) एवं शिक्षा राज्य मंत्री डॉ. सुकांत मजूमदार ने आज लोकभवन में सिक्किम के माननीय राज्यपाल श्री ओम प्रकाश माथुर से शिष्टाचार भेंट की।

बैठक के दौरान सिक्किम प्रदेश में जारी प्रमुख विकास कार्यों, विशेषकर DoNER पोषित परियोजनाओं और शिक्षा क्षेत्र की योजनाओं पर विस्तार से सार्थक विचार-विमर्श किया गया साथ भविष्य की कार्ययोजनाओं पर भी चर्चा हुई ।
