The General Secretary of the Sikkim State Kho Kho Association, Ms. Sabitri Pradhan, along with other members, called on the Hon’ble Governor of Sikkim, Shri Om Prakash Mathur, at Raj Bhavan today.

During the meeting, Ms. Pradhan provided the Hon’ble Governor with an update on the growing enthusiasm for Kho Kho in the state. She also highlighted the achievement of a Sikkimese girl, Ms. Palmu Sherpa being selected for the World Cup Indian Kho Kho camp, New Delhi as well as the ongoing activities and development of Kho Kho in Sikkim.

The Hon’ble Governor inquired about the status of Kho Kho in the schools of Sikkim. He further assured that Raj Bhavan would extend its support for Kho Kho in the state, emphasizing his commitment to promoting sports and fostering a spirit of encouragement throughout Sikkim. He also extended his best wishes to the members of the Kho Kho Association for all their future endeavors.
