06.11.2025 : The students and teachers of Mount Zion School, Gangtok, led by the Vice Principal Smt. Manita Sharma paid a courtesy visit to the Hon’ble Governor of Sikkim at Raj Bhavan today.

The students and teachers of Mount Zion School, Gangtok, led by the Vice Principal Smt. Manita Sharma paid a courtesy visit to the Hon’ble Governor of Sikkim, Shri Om Prakash Mathur at Raj Bhavan today.

During the courtesy meeting, the students presented paintings and crafts to the Hon’ble Governor.

The Hon’ble Governor engaged with the students and appreciated their artistic works and encouraged them to set high aspirations.

Later they visited Old Raj Bhavan and learned about the significance and legacy of the Raj Bhavan.

माउंट ज़ायन स्कूल, गंगटोक के विद्यार्थियों ने आज वाइस प्रिंसिपल श्रीमती मनीता शर्मा एवं अन्य शिक्षकों के साथ सिक्किम के माननीय राज्यपाल श्री ओम प्रकाश माथुर से राजभवन में शिष्टाचार भेंट की।
इस अवसर पर बच्चों ने अपनी रचनात्मक प्रतिभा का परिचय देते हुए स्वयं निर्मित चित्रकलाएं राज्यपाल महोदय को भेंट कीं।

माननीय राज्यपाल ने बच्चों से संवाद किया और उनकी कलात्मक प्रतिभा की सराहना की।

भेंट के उपरांत बच्चों ने ऐतिहासिक पुराने राजभवन परिसर का भी भ्रमण किया और इसके गौरवशाली इतिहास के बारे में जानकारी प्राप्त की।

राज्यपाल महोदय ने स्कूल टीम एवं विद्यार्थियों को उज्ज्वल भविष्य की हार्दिक शुभकामनाएं दीं हैं।
