07.05.2026 : The Governor of Sikkim today administered the Oath of Office to the newly appointed State Chief Information Commissioner and Judicial Member of the Lokayukta, Sikkim today.

The Governor of Sikkim, Shri Om Prakash Mathur today administered the Oath of Office to the newly appointed State Chief Information Commissioner, Shri Kuber Bhandari and Smt. Kesang Chukie Barphungpa as Judicial Member of the Lokayukta, Sikkim today at a brief swearing in a ceremony held at Lok Bhavan, Gangtok.

After the oath ceremony, the Governor congratulated them and conveyed his best wishes.

The ceremony was attended by Chief Secretary Shri R. Telang, Commissioner-cum-Secretary to the Governor Shri Jitendra Singh Raje, Secretary of the Department of Personnel Shri Ringzing Chewang, Law department Secretary, Shri Suraj Chettri, Home department Secretary, Shri T. Kaleon, Lokayukta Secretary, Smt. Kincho Doma and State Information Commission Secretary, Smt. Jyotsna Mary Karthak.

The oath taking proceedings were conducted by Chief Secretary.

सिक्किम के माननीय राज्यपाल श्री ओम प्रकाश माथुर से आज लोकभवन में मध्य प्रदेश के पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री एवं राज्यसभा सांसद व शिक्षा, महिला, बाल, युवा और खेल संबंधी संसदीय स्थायी समिति के अध्यक्ष श्री दिग्विजय सिंह ने शिष्टाचार भेंट की।

इस बैठक के दौरान विभिन्न विषयों पर सार्थक चर्चा के साथ सार्वजनिक सेवा के अपने अनुभव साझा किए गए।
इसके अतिरिक्त राज्य की सामाजिक-आर्थिक प्रगति तथा क्षेत्र के सतत विकास से जुड़े मुद्दों पर विचारों का आदान-प्रदान किया।

श्री दिग्विजय सिंह, 07 मई से 10 मई 2026 तक सिक्किम के दौरे पर हैं और कई बैठकों में भाग लेंगे।
