Brigadier Upendra Pal Singh, Deputy General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the Black Cat Division, Deorali called on Governor Shri Om Prakash Mathur at Lok Bhavan today.

During the courtesy meeting, Brigadier Singh extended a formal invitation to the Governor for the ’60th Nathula Vijay Diwas’ and briefed about the event.

‘Nathula Vijay Diwas’ observed annually on 11 September to honour the extraordinary courage and victory of Indian soldiers against the Chinese forces at Nathula in 1967.

Governor graciously accepted the invitation and extended his best wishes for the success of the event.

भारतीय सेना की ब्लैक कैट डिवीजन के डिप्टी जीओसी, ब्रिगेडियर उपेंद्र पाल सिंह ने आज लोकभवन में सिक्किम के माननीय राज्यपाल श्री ओम प्रकाश माथुर से शिष्टाचार मुलाकात की।मुलाकात के दौरान, ब्रिगेडियर सिंह ने माननीय राज्यपाल को आगामी 11 सितंबर, 2026 को ऐतिहासिक नाथुला दर्रे पर आयोजित होने वाले ’60वें नाथुला विजय दिवस’ समारोह में मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में सम्मिलित होने के लिए आमंत्रित किया।

राज्यपाल महोदय ने आमंत्रण को स्वीकार करते हुए समारोह के लिए अपनी शुभकामनाएं दीं हैं ।
