Dr. Passang D. Phempu, Director of the Namgyal Institute of Tibetology, and other officials called on the Hon’ble Governor of Sikkim, Shri Om Prakash Mathur, at Raj Bhavan today. The Hon’ble Governor also serves as the President of the Namgyal Institute of Tibetology.

During the meeting, the Hon’ble Governor was welcomed by the Director,and introduced the Hon’ble Governor to the officers of NIT. The Director presented a PowerPoint presentation outlining the institution’s historical background, working aims, and objectives, with a primary focus on the dissemination of Lord Buddha’s teachings.

The Hon’ble Governor expressed his appreciation for the presentation and extended his best wishes and support from Raj Bhavan for the continued progress and accomplishments of the Namgyal Institute of Tibetology.
