10.09.2025 : Major General M.S. Rathore, General Officer Commanding of the 17th Mountain Division, called on the Hon’ble Governor of Sikkim, Shri Om Prakash Mathur, at Raj Bhavan this morning.

Major General M.S. Rathore, General Officer Commanding of the 17th Mountain Division, called on the Hon’ble Governor of Sikkim, Shri Om Prakash Mathur, at Raj Bhavan this morning.
During the meeting, Major General Rathore extended a formal invitation to the Hon’ble Governor for the “Nathula Vijay Diwas,” celebration which is held annually on the 11th of September. Major General Rathore also discussed and briefed about various other matters related to the event.

The Hon’ble Governor also acknowledged their sterling contribution towards safety and security of the nation and graciously accepted the invitation and extended his heartfelt best wishes for the success of the event.

17वीं माउंटेन डिवीजन के जनरल ऑफिसर कमांडिंग, मेजर जनरल एम.एस. राठौड़ ने आज प्रातः राजभवन में सिक्किम के माननीय राज्यपाल श्री ओम प्रकाश माथुर से शिष्टाचार भेंट की।
यह भेंट आगामी 11 सितम्बर 2025 को नाथुला दर्रे में आयोजित होने वाले ‘नाथुला विजय दिवस’ के उपलक्ष्य में हुई, जो भारतीय सेना के वीर शहीदों की स्मृति में प्रतिवर्ष मनाया जाता है।

मेजर जनरल राठौड़ ने कार्यक्रम हेतु माननीय राज्यपाल को औपचारिक निमंत्रण प्रदान किया। इस अवसर पर उन्होंने कार्यक्रम की रूपरेखा भी माननीय राज्यपाल से साझा की।

माननीय राज्यपाल ने निमंत्रण को स्वीकार किया है तथा कार्यक्रम की सफलता के लिए अपनी हार्दिक शुभकामनाएँ प्रेषित कीं हैं।
