The Sikkim Governor, Shri Om Prakash Mathur reached queen of hills, Darjeeling today on his three day visit to hill station.
Upon his arrival at Lok Bhavan, Darjeeling, a guard of honour was given by Darjeeling district police. Later, he was received and welcomed by officials of Darjeeling District Administration.

During his stay, the Governor will visit the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (HMI) and UNESCO World Heritage Site, Darjeeling Himalayan Railway (DHR).

सिक्किम के माननीय राज्यपाल श्री ओम प्रकाश माथुर अपने तीन दिवसीय प्रवास पर आज दार्जिलिंग पहुँचे। उनके आगमन पर दार्जिलिंग जिला पुलिस द्वारा गार्ड ऑफ ऑनर प्रदान किया गया। तत्पश्चात दार्जिलिंग जिला प्रशासन के अधिकारियों ने उनका स्वागत एवं अभिनंदन किया।

अपने प्रवास के दौरान राज्यपाल हिमालयन माउंटेनियरिंग इंस्टीट्यूट (HMI) तथा यूनेस्को विश्व धरोहर स्थल, दार्जिलिंग हिमालयन रेलवे का भ्रमण करेंगे।
