13.01.2026 : The Governor of Arunachal Pradesh, Lieutenant General, Kaiwalya Trivikram Parnaik (Retd.) PVSM, UYSM, YSM, paid a courtesy call the Governor of Sikkim at Lok Bhavan this morning.

The Governor of Arunachal Pradesh, Lieutenant General, Kaiwalya Trivikram Parnaik (Retd.) PVSM, UYSM, YSM, paid a courtesy call the Governor of Sikkim, Shri Om Prakash Mathur at Lok Bhavan this morning.

The Governor of Sikkim, Shri Mathur extended warm welcomed his counterpart Lieutenant General, Kaiwalya Trivikram Parnaik (Retd.) and hosted a breakfast.

During this meeting, both Governors exchanged pleasantries and discussed issues of mutual
interest, as well as developments on various fronts in their respective states, They shared views on the unique traditions and vibrant customs of Arunachal pradesh & Sikkim, emphasizing the importance of cultural exchange in strengthening regional unity.

Both the Governors, while reaffirming the commitment to fostering stronger cooperation of Northeast in development, cultural ties and called for reinforcing the bond between Arunachal Pradesh and Sikkim.

The Governors of both the states exchanged gifts and mementoes.

आज प्रातः लोकभवन, गंगटोक में अरुणाचल प्रदेश के माननीय राज्यपाल लेफ्टिनेंट जनरल कैवल्या त्रिविक्रम परनाइक, (पीवीएसएम, यूवाईएसएम, वाईएसएम (सेवानिवृत्त)) ने सिक्किम के माननीय राज्यपाल श्री ओम प्रकाश माथुर से शिष्टाचार भेंट की। इस भेंट के दौरान नाश्ते का आयोजन भी किया गया।

माननीय राज्यपाल श्री ओम प्रकाश माथुर ने अरुणाचल प्रदेश के माननीय राज्यपाल का राजभवन में हार्दिक स्वागत किया।

इस दौरान दोनों माननीय राज्यपालों ने सिक्किम तथा अरुणाचल प्रदेश के बीच सांस्कृतिक, सामाजिक एवं विकासात्मक सहयोग के विभिन्न पहलुओं पर विस्तृत विचार-विमर्श किया, साथ ही पूर्वोत्तर क्षेत्र की विशिष्टताओं और पारस्परिक सहयोग की संभावनाओं पर भी गहन चर्चा हुई।

भेंट के दौरान दोनों माननीय राज्यपालों ने एक-दूसरे को स्मृति-चिह्न भेंट किया ।
