Shri Manish Kumar, the newly appointed Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), Sector Headquarter (SHQ), Gangtok, called on the Hon’ble Governor of Sikkim, Shri Om Prakash Mathur, at Raj Bhavan today.

During the call on, various matters pertaining to the security, development, and the role of SSB in maintaining peace and order in the region were discussed. DIG, SSB also expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to serve in Sikkim and assured the Hon’ble Governor of his commitment to upholding the values of integrity and dedication in his role.

Commendeding the efforts of SSB in safeguarding the borders thereby contributing to the overall security of the region. The Hon’ble Governor extended a warm welcome to the newly appointed DIG, SSB, and extended best wishes for all his future endeavours.
