14.08.2024 : Vice Chancellor, Khangchendzonga State University, Dr. Ashish Sharma and others paid a courtesy visit to the Hon’ble Governor.

The Vice Chancellor of Khangchendzonga State University, Dr. Ashish Sharma accompanied by the Heads of Departments and other faculty members, paid a courtesy visit to the Hon’ble Governor of Sikkim, Shri Om Prakash Mathur, at Raj Bhavan.

During the meeting , the Vice Chancellor and his team extended a warm welcome to the Hon’ble Governor, who is also the Chancellor of Khangchendzonga State University. They also provided an overview of the university’s activities and highlighted its commitment to the study and preservation of Sanskrit and other local languages of Sikkim.

The Hon’ble Governor commended the University’s commitment to promoting Sanskrit and local languages, highlighting the crucial role of language in fostering diversity among students and the broader community. Further, he extended his best wishes for the university’s continued success.
