16.09.2025 : The Hon’ble Minister of Health and Family Welfare Department along with the Secretary called on the Hon’ble Governor of Sikkim, Shri Om Prakash Mathur at Raj Bhavan today.

The Hon’ble Minister of Health and Family Welfare Department, Shri G.T. Dhungel, along with the Secretary of the Health and Family Welfare Department, Shri Chewang Gyatso, called on the Hon’ble Governor of Sikkim, Shri Om Prakash Mathur at Raj Bhavan today.

During the meeting, the Hon’ble Minister cordially extended a formal invitation to the Hon’ble Governor to attend the event organized as part of Sewa Pakhwada 2025, which is scheduled to be held on 17th September, 2025.

The Hon’ble Governor graciously accepted the invitation to grace the occasion with his presence.

This special event of Sewa Pakhwada 2025, where the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi will launch the ‘Swasth Nari, Sashakt Parivar Abhiyaan’, for strengthening healthcare and nutrition services for women, adolescent girls, and children across India.

The Swasth Nari, Sashakt Parivar Abhiyaan aims to advance the Hon’ble Prime Minister’s vision of Health, Poshan (Nutrition), Fitness, and a Viksit Bharat by 2047. This nationwide intensified campaign seeks to provide women-centric preventive, promotive, and curative health services at the community level.

आज राजभवन में स्वास्थ्य एवं परिवार कल्याण विभाग के माननीय मंत्री श्री जी.टी. ढुंगेल ने विभाग के सचिव श्री छेवांग ग्यात्सो के साथ सिक्किम के माननीय राज्यपाल श्री ओम प्रकाश माथुर से शिष्टाचार भेंट की।

इस भेंट के दौरान, श्री जी.टी. ढुंगेल ने माननीय राज्यपाल को 17/09/2025 से शुभारंभ हो रहे ‘स्वच्छता ही सेवा – 2025’- सेवा पखवाड़ा के अंतर्गत आयोजित कार्यक्रम में सहभागिता हेतु औपचारिक आमंत्रण प्रदान किया, जिसे माननीय राज्यपाल ने स्वीकार किया है।

सेवा पखवाड़ा 2025 के इस विशेष कार्यक्रम में ‘स्वस्थ नारी, सशक्त परिवार’ विषय पर भारत के माननीय प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेंद्र मोदी वर्चुअल माध्यम से सहभागिता करेंगे
