Sikkim Women Entrepreneur Forum Society led by President, Asha Thing Lama and General Secretary, Primula Bhandari, along with other members paid a courtesy visit to the Hon’ble Governor of Sikkim, Shri Shri Om Prakash Mathur at Raj Bhavan today.

During the meeting, the President briefed the Hon’ble Governor on the organization’s efforts to promote women’s entrepreneurship and economic empowerment in Sikkim. They also discussed on how the organization is working to empower women in both rural and urban areas through entrepreneurship.

The Hon’ble Governor commended the activities of the Women Entrepreneur Forum Society, stating that the contributions of all involved are crucial for women’s empowerment and entrepreneurship. He emphasized that these efforts not only provide women with opportunities for self-reliance but also significantly contribute to the state’s economic progress.

सिक्किम महिला उद्यमी मंच सोसायटी की अध्यक्ष आशा थींग लामा, महासचिव प्रिमुला भंडारी ने आज राजभवन में माननीय राज्यपाल श्री ओम प्रकाश माथुर से शिष्टाचार मुलाकात की।
इस बैठक के दौरान,अध्यक्षा ने राज्यपाल महोदय को सिक्किम में महिला उद्यमिता के विकास और आर्थिक सशक्तिकरण के लिए संगठन के प्रयासों की जानकारी दी।
उन्होंने यह भी चर्चा की कि कैसे संगठन ग्रामीण और शहरी क्षेत्रों में महिलाओं को उद्यमिता के माध्यम से सशक्त बनाने के लिए काम कर रहा है।

राज्यपाल महोदय ने महिला उद्यमी मंच सोसायटी के कार्यों की प्रशंसा करते हुए कहा कि महिलाओं के सशक्तिकरण और उद्यमिता के क्षेत्र में आप सभी का योगदान अत्यंत महत्वपूर्ण है। आपके प्रयासों से न केवल महिलाओं को आत्मनिर्भरता की ओर बढ़ने का अवसर मिल रहा है, बल्कि राज्य की आर्थिक प्रगति में भी महत्वपूर्ण योगदान हो रहा है।
