17.09.2025 : Message of the Hon’ble Governor of Sikkim, Shri Om Prakash Mathur on the joyous occasion of Vishwakarma Pooja.

On the auspicious occasion of Lord Vishwakarma Pooja, I extend my heartiest greetings and best wishes to all the people of Sikkim, especially to the skilled artisans, engineers, craftsmen, workers, and all those whose dedication and hard work contribute to the progress and development of our society.

Vishwakarma Puja is the day dedicated to Lord Vishwakarma who is the builder of all palaces, weapons and vehicles used by Gods. As per Hindu religious belief, Lord Vishwakarma, is believed to be the main architect of the Universe. He is the son of the creator, Brahma and is the official architect of all the palaces where the Gods reside. He is also the designer of all the flying chariots and weapons of the Gods.
On this special day, let us recommit ourselves to work with integrity, commitment, and devotion in our respective fields. May the blessings of Lord Vishwakarma inspire us all to pursue excellence, promote innovation, and contribute meaningfully towards building a prosperous and resilient nation.

सिक्किम के माननीय राज्यपाल श्री ओम प्रकाश माथुर ने विश्वकर्मा पूजा के पावन अवसर पर सिक्किम वासियों को शुभकामनाएं दीं हैं।
अपने संदेश में माननीय राज्यपाल ने कहा, “मैं सिक्किम के सभी नागरिकों को, विशेष रूप से कुशल शिल्पकारों, अभियंताओं, कारीगरों, श्रमिक भाइयों और बहनों को एवं उन सभी कर्मयोगियों को हार्दिक शुभकामनाएँ एवं बधाई देता हूँ, जिनकी निष्ठा और परिश्रम हमारे समाज की प्रगति और विकास में महत्वपूर्ण योगदान दे रहा है।

हिंदू धार्मिक मान्यता के अनुसार,विश्वकर्मा पूजा भगवान विश्वकर्मा को समर्पित है जो ब्रह्मा जी के पुत्र हैं और समस्त ब्रह्मांड के मुख्य वास्तुकार माने जाते हैं।

इस विशेष दिन पर आइए हम सभी अपने-अपने कार्यक्षेत्र में ईमानदारी, समर्पण और निष्ठा के साथ पुनः संकल्प लें।
भगवान विश्वकर्मा की कृपा हम सभी को उत्कृष्टता की ओर प्रेरित करे, कर्मशील रहने की प्रेरणा प्रदान करें और एक समृद्ध एवं सुदृढ़ राष्ट्र के निर्माण में हमारा योगदान सार्थक बने।
