Lok Bhavan Sikkim celebrated the Statehood Day of Bihar state today at the conference hall, Lok Bhavan Gangtok under the Ek Bharat-Shreshtha Bharat programme. The ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’ initiative aims to celebrate India’s diverse cultures, uphold their significance and seek to foster greater interaction and mutual understanding between different regions and communities.
On behalf of the Sikkim Governor, officials extended warm greetings to people of Bihar residing in Sikkim and all the residents of Bihar on Bihar Day.
During the programme, a video message from the Governor of Bihar, Lt Gen Syed Ata Hasnain (Retd.) was screened.
During the celebration, the contribution of the Bihari community for the society and the State along with the various historical and cultural importance of Bihar for India were highlighted.
सिक्किम लोकभवन में आज बिहार राज्य स्थापना दिवस मनाया गया।
यह पहल भारत सरकार द्वारा शुरू की गई है, जिसका उद्देश्य देश की एकता और अखंडता को मजबूत करना तथा ‘अनेकता में एकता’ की संस्कृति को उत्सव के रूप में मनाना है। इसी क्रम में आज बिहार राज्य दिवस का आयोजन किया गया।
कार्यक्रम में लोकभवन के अधिकारियों ने माननीय राज्यपाल श्री ओम प्रकाश माथुर जी की ओर से सिक्किम में बसे बिहार के सभी समुदायों को हार्दिक शुभकामनाएँ दीं।
इस अवसर पर बिहार की समृद्ध संस्कृति और गौरवशाली इतिहास पर प्रकाश डाला गया। साथ ही पिछले कई दशकों से सिक्किम की अर्थव्यवस्था एवं सामाजिक विकास में बिहारी समुदाय द्वारा किए गए महत्वपूर्ण योगदान की सराहना की गई।
कार्यक्रम के दौरान माननीय राज्यपाल, बिहार, लेफ्टिनेंट जनरल सैयद अता हसनैन जी का वीडियो संदेश प्रदर्शित किया गया। इस संदेश में उन्होंने सभी लोकभवनों में बिहार राज्य स्थापना दिवस मनाए जाने के लिए आभार व्यक्त किया। साथ ही उन्होंने अन्य राज्यों में बसे बिहारी भाइयों-बहनों के योगदान की प्रशंसा की और उनके महत्व को रेखांकित किया।
आज के कार्यक्रम में सिक्किम में रहने वाले बिहार के निवासियों को विशेष रूप से आमंत्रित किया गया ।
