24.09.2025 : Dr. Anupam Mishra, the Vice Chancellor of Central Agricultural University (CAU), Imphal, paid a courtesy call on the Hon’ble Governor of Sikkim at Raj Bhavan here today.

Dr. Anupam Mishra, the Vice Chancellor of Central Agricultural University (CAU), Imphal, paid a courtesy call on the Hon’ble Governor of Sikkim, Shri Om Prakash Mathur at Raj Bhavan here today.

During the meeting, the Vice Chancellor extended a formal invitation to the Hon’ble Governor for the inauguration of Administrative and Academic Building of College of Horticulture and Annual Zonal Workshop 2025 at College of Horticulture, CAU (Imphal), Bermiok, Namchi district, scheduled to be held on 25th September, 2025.

The Vice Chancellor apprised the Hon’ble Governor of the ongoing initiatives and achievements in promoting agricultural and horticulture education, research, and extension activities in the State. He also provided an overview of the academic progress made by the University in Sikkim

The Hon’ble Governor urged the university and college of horticulture to continue their proactive role in addressing regional agricultural challenges and empowering farming communities.

The Vice Chancellor was accompanied by Dr. A. K Pandey, Dean of College of Horticulture, Bermiok and faculty member.
