25.02.2026 : The Hon’ble Governor Shri Om Prakash Mathur was paid a courtesy call by Gangtok MLA and Chief Patron of the Holi Celebration Committee, Shri Delay Namgyal Barfungpa

The Hon’ble Governor Shri Om Prakash Mathur was paid a courtesy call by Gangtok MLA and Chief Patron of the Holi Celebration Committee, Shri Delay Namgyal Barfungpa, along with office bearers and the President of Marwari Samaj, Shri Sajjan Kumar Agarwal, accompanied by the Executive Members at Lok Bhavan, Sikkim.

During the meeting, the delegation conveyed their greetings to the Hon’ble Governor and extended an invitation to participate in the upcoming Holi festival. The celebration will be held on 4th March, 2026 at M.G. Marg, Gangtok.

The Hon’ble Governor graciously accepted the invitation and conveyed his best wishes for the success of this cultural festival.

आज लोकभवन सिक्किम में माननीय राज्यपाल श्री ओम प्रकाश माथुर से गंगटोक क्षेत्र विधायक एवं चीफ पेट्रोन,होली सेलिब्रेशन कमिटी श्री डिले नामग्याल बारफुंगपा सहित पदाधिकारियों तथा मरवाड़ी समाज के अध्यक्ष श्री सज्जन कुमार अग्रवाल एवं कार्यकारी सदस्यों ने शिष्टाचार भेंट की।

इस दौरान प्रतिनिधिमंडल ने माननीय राज्यपाल महोदय को शुभकामनाएँ प्रेषित करते हुए आगामी होली उत्सव में सम्मिलित होने हेतु आमंत्रित किया। यह उत्सव 4 मार्च, 2026 को एम.जी. मार्ग, गंगटोक में आयोजित किया जाएगा।

माननीय राज्यपाल ने आमंत्रण स्वीकार करते हुए इस सांस्कृतिक उत्सव की सफलता हेतु शुभेच्छाएँ व्यक्त की है।
