25.12.2025 : Message of Hon’ble Governor of Sikkim Shri Om Prakash Mathur on the occasion of Christmas.
The Governor of Sikkim, Shri Om Prakash Mathur extends his warm Christmas greetings to the people of Sikkim.
In a message, the Governor said
“On this joyous occasion of Christmas, I extend my warmest greetings to everyone in Sikkim and beyond. The festival of Christmas reminds us of the noble life and teachings of Jesus Christ. The true spirit of christmas is love, kindness, forgiveness and generosity and promote harmony and goodwill among people. In this spirit, let us renew our commitment to live up to the message of love and compassion that Jesus Christ preached.
Let us also strengthen the spirit of humanity and brotherhood among all communities living together in the state.
May Christmas bring more happiness and development to our State.”

सिक्किम के माननीय राज्यपाल श्री ओम प्रकाश माथुर ने सिक्किमवासियों, विशेषकर ईसाई समुदाय को क्रिसमस के पावन अवसर पर हार्दिक शुभकामनाएँ व्यक्त की हैं।
माननीय राज्यपाल ने कहा , “मैं सिक्किम के सभी नागरिकों, विशेषकर ईसाई समुदाय को क्रिसमस की हार्दिक बधाई देता हूँ।
प्रभु यीशु मसीह का जीवन प्रेम, करुणा, सहनशीलता और समर्पण का प्रतीक है। उनका संदेश मानवता को सदैव सत्य, नेकी और सेवा की राह पर चलने की प्रेरणा देता है।
इस अवसर पर आइए हम प्रभु यीशु द्वारा दिए गए आदर्शों को अपने आचरण और व्यवहार में उतारें तथा समाज में एकता, सद्भाव और भाईचारे की भावना को और अधिक सुदृढ़ करें।
