The Hon’ble Governor of Sikkim, Shri Om Prakash Mathur, gave audience to Executive Members of Sikkim Football Association led by its President Shri Menla Ethenpa, at Raj Bhavan, today.

During the meeting, the association members extended their warm greetings to the Hon’ble Governor and shared insights into the significance of the All India Governor’s Gold Cup Football Tournament, the annual football mega event of the State. They also sought permission and informed the Hon’ble Governor on the upcoming All India Governor’s Gold Cup Tournament.

The Hon’ble Governor extended his best wishes to the association and assured them that the assistance they require will be provided by Raj Bhavan.

सिक्किम के राज्यपाल श्री ओम प्रकाश माथुर से आज सिक्किम फुटबॉल एसोसिएशन के अध्यक्ष श्री मेनला एथेनपा एवं कार्यकारी सदस्यों ने राजभवन में शिष्टाचार मुलाकात की।
इस दौरान, एसोसिएशन के सदस्यों ने माननीय राज्यपाल को शुभकामनाएं प्रेषित करते हुए राज्य में फुटबॉल संबंधी वार्षिक मेगा इवेंट, ‘ऑल इंडिया गवर्नर गोल्ड कप फुटबॉल टूर्नामेंट’ आदि के बारे में जानकारी प्रदान की।
इसके अलावा, उन्होंने आगामी ‘ऑल इंडिया गवर्नर गोल्ड कप टूर्नामेंट’ के बारे में माननीय राज्यपाल से अनुमति लेते हुए इस विषय पर अतिरिक्त जानकारी प्रदान की ।
माननीय राज्यपाल ने एसोसिएशन को अपनी शुभकामनाएं देते हुए उन्हें राजभवन की ओर से आवश्यक सहायता प्रदान करने का आश्वासन दिया है।
