Hon’ble Governor Inaugurates E-Library at Vivekananda Memorial, Alwar, Rajasthan and Attends Civic Felicitation Ceremony
The Hon’ble Governor of Sikkim, Shri Om Prakash Mathur inaugurated an E-Library at the Vivekananda Memorial premises in Alwar, Rajasthan today.
Addressing the gathering at the inauguration ceremony, the Hon’ble Governor expressed his great satisfaction over the inauguration of the E-Library. He stated that this initiative would pave the way for various avenues of knowledge and innovation for Alwar, in alignment with the demands of the digital era. He further remarked that it would help shape the future architects of the nation, who would contribute significantly towards nation-building and the realization of the common goal of every Indian for a Viksit Bharat @2047.
The construction of this modern E-Library building was undertaken in the year 2022 under the Member of Parliament Local Area Development Scheme (MPLADS), during the Hon’ble Governor’s tenure as a member of Rajya Sabha. This significant contribution was curated at promoting education and innovation among the youth.
The library has been equipped with books, furniture, computers, and other modern facilities with support from the MPLADS fund of Hon’ble Union Minister for Environment, Forest and Climate Change and also Member of Parliament from Alwar, Shri Bhupender Yadav, along with contributions from the V Shakti Trust.
Following the inauguration, a Civic Felicitation Ceremony was also held at the Pratap Auditorium in Alwar honouring the Hon’ble Governor, this ceremony had the presence of various.
The Hon’ble Governor also extended his deepest appreciation to everyone for honouring him and for the warm reception extended towards him.
Earlier, the ceremony commenced with two minutes of silence in remembrance of the lives lost in the recent unfortunate incident that unfolded in Pahalgam.
The event witnessed the gracious presence of several distinguished personalities, including Rajasthan’s Minister for Environment and Forests, Shri Sanjay Sharma, and Members of the Legislative Assembly: Shri Baba Balak Nath, Shri Ramhet Yadav, Shri Devi Singh Shekhawat, Shri Ramesh Khinchi, and Shri Sukhwant Singh, as well as senior social worker Shri Dharmveer Sharma.
Local administration officials, educationists, social activists, and a large number of enthusiastic youth also participated in the event.
माननीय राज्यपाल द्वारा विवेकानंद स्मारक, अलवर,राजस्थान में ई-लाइब्रेरी का लोकार्पण एवं नागरिक अभिनंदन समारोह
आज राजस्थान, अलवर स्थित विवेकानंद स्मारक के प्रांगण में ई-लाइब्रेरी का लोकार्पण सिक्किम के माननीय राज्यपाल श्री ओम प्रकाश माथुर की गरिमामयी उपस्थिति में सम्पन्न हुआ।
इस आधुनिक ई-लाइब्रेरी भवन निर्माण सांसद स्थानीय क्षेत्र विकास योजनान्तर्गत वर्ष 2022 में किया गया, जब माननीय राज्यपाल स्वयं राज्य सभा सदस्य थे और उन्होंने शिक्षा और नवाचार को बढ़ावा देने की दिशा में यह महत्वपूर्ण योगदान दिया था।
यहाँ पुस्तकें, फर्नीचर, कंप्यूटर एवं अन्य उपकरण माननीय केन्द्रीय मंत्री, वन, पर्यावरण, जलवायु परिवर्तन मंत्रालय, एवं अलवर सांसद श्री भूपेंद्र यादव के सांसद कोष और वी शक्ति ट्रस्ट से उपलब्ध कराए गए हैं।
ई-लाइब्रेरी लोकार्पण के पश्चात माननीय राज्यपाल का प्रताप ऑडिटोरियम,
अलवर में नागरिक अभिनंदन किया गया जिसमें उपस्थित गणमान्य व्यक्तियों ने राज्यपाल महोदय के योगदान की सराहना करते हुए सम्मान स्वरूप स्मृति चिन्ह भेंट किया।
इस दौरान सबसे पहले, पहलगाम घटना में शहीदों को श्रद्धांजलि अर्पित की गई।उपस्थित जनसमूह ने दो मिनट का मौन रखकर शहीदों को नमन किया।
अपने संबोधन में माननीय राज्यपाल ने ई-लाइब्रेरी लोकार्पण पर प्रसन्नता व्यक्त करते हुए कहा कि यह पहल अलवर के युवाओं को डिजिटल युग के अनुरूप ज्ञान-अर्जन और नवाचार की नई संभावनाओं से जोड़ने का मार्ग प्रशस्त करेगी साथ ही उन्हें राष्ट्र निर्माण की दिशा में कार्य करने के लिए भी प्रोत्साहित करेगी। साथ ही राज्यपाल महोदय ने अभिनंदन सम्मान के लिए सभी के प्रति हर्ष जताते हुए आभार प्रकट किया है।
इस अवसर पर राजस्थान सरकार के वन एवं पर्यावरण मंत्री श्री संजय शर्मा सहित कई सम्माननीय विधायकों की उपस्थिति रही। उपस्थित गणमान्य व्यक्तियों में— श्री बाबा बालक नाथ (विधायक) ,श्री रामहेत यादव (विधायक) , श्री देवी सिंह शेखावत (विधायक), श्री रमेश खींची (विधायक), श्री सुखवंत सिंह (विधायक),श्री धर्मवीर शर्मा (वरिष्ठ समाजसेवी) स्थानीय प्रशासन, शिक्षाविद, सामाजिक कार्यकर्ता एवं बड़ी संख्या में युवा ने अपनी उपस्थिति दर्ज की।
इस दौरान कई महानुभावों ने अलवर के शैक्षिक, पर्यावरणीय और सामाजिक उन्नयन हेतु अपने विचार प्रस्तुत किए और नागरिक सहभागिता को बल देने की आवश्यकता पर जोर दिया।
