In his Chhath Puja Sandesh (message), the Hon’ble Governor said, “On the occasion of the great festival of Chhath Puja, I extend my warm greetings to the people of Sikkim.

Chhath Puja is a festival of deep faith, devotion, and discipline. The festival of worshiping the Sun God as a celebration of eternal traditions as well as a reflection of our deep bond with nature. My best wishes are that this festival brings happiness and prosperity into everyone’s lives and inspires us towards environmental conservation. The blessings of Chhathi Mata will guide the nation toward progress.”

छठ पूजा के पावन अवसर पर सिक्किम के माननीय राज्यपाल श्री ओम प्रकाश माथुर ने समस्त प्रदेशवासियों को हार्दिक शुभकामनाएँ दी हैं।

माननीय राज्यपाल ने कहा,
“छठ पूजा सूर्य देव की आराधना के माध्यम से प्रकृति, श्रद्धा और लोक आस्था का अनुपम पर्व है।

सूर्य संपूर्ण सृष्टि की ऊर्जा का अनंत स्रोत है। यह पर्व हमें प्रकृति के साथ संतुलन और आस्था के साथ अनुशासन का संदेश देता है।

इस अवसर पर मैं सभी नागरिकों से आग्रह करता हूँ कि वे इस पर्व को स्वच्छता, श्रद्धा और सामाजिक समरसता के साथ मनाएँ, और सूर्य की ऊर्जा से प्रेरणा लेकर जीवन में और अधिक सकारात्मकता को अपनाएँ।
