    The General Officer Commanding the 17th Mountain Black Cat Division, Major General Amit Kabthiyal, SM, called on the Hon’ble Governor of Sikkim, Shri Lakshman Prasad Acharya, at Raj Bhavan.

    Major General Kabthiyal presented a comprehensive presentation detailing plans for the proposed upcoming memorial park at Bardang in memory of those brave soldiers who sacrificed their lives in Bardang, for the nation during the unfortunate events that unfolded in the state on the night of 3rd-4th October 2023.

    The Hon’ble Governor expressed his support and extended best wishes on behalf of himself and the entire Raj Bhavan family. In the spirit of “All gave some – Some gave all,” paying tribute to the soldiers who gave their all in the service of the nation.
