The Hon’ble Governor of Sikkim, Shri Om Prakash Mathur, extends his warm greetings and best wishes to the people of Sikkim, particularly to the Tamang community, on the auspicious occasion of “Sonam Lochhar”.

In his message, the Hon’ble Governor remarked, “The celebration of Sonam Lochhar by our Tamang fraternity highlights yet another vibrant aspect of Sikkim’s rich cultural diversity. It reaffirms our belief in the divine as the source of all our victories and achievements, as we come together to offer prayers and present the season’s first harvest to our deity.

On this auspicious occasion, I wish that this festival brings good health, happiness, contentment, and success into the lives of our people.”

सिक्किम के माननीय राज्यपाल श्री ओम प्रकाश माथुर ने सिक्किम वासियों विशेषकर तमांग समुदाय को सोनाम लोछार के शुभ अवसर पर हार्दिक शुभकामनाएं दीं हैं।
