29.05.2025 : The Hon’ble former Governor of Sikkim, Shri Ganga Prasad, paid a courtesy visit to the Hon’ble Governor, Shri Om Prakash Mathur, at Raj Bhavan today.

The Hon’ble former Governor of Sikkim, Shri Ganga Prasad, paid a courtesy visit to the Hon’ble Governor, Shri Om Prakash Mathur, at Raj Bhavan today. During the meeting, Shri Ganga Prasad fondly recalled his tenure as 16 Governor in Sikkim and the cherished memories associated with his time in the state.

The two dignitaries also engaged in a warm exchange of views on the ongoing developmental initiatives being undertaken at Raj Bhavan.

On this occasion, the Hon’ble former Governor graciously extended his heartiest wishes to the Hon’ble Governor Shri Mathur on the momentous occasion of Sikkim’s 50th year of statehood. And the Hon’ble Governor reciprocated the greetings and wished the Hon’ble former Governor for good health and well-being.

आज राजभवन में सिक्किम के माननीय पूर्व राज्यपाल श्री गंगा प्रसाद ने माननीय राज्यपाल श्री ओम प्रकाश माथुर से सौहार्दपूर्ण भेंट की। इस दौरान उन्होंने अपने कार्यकाल में सिक्किम में बिताए गए समय की स्मृतियों को साझा किया।

इसके अतिरिक्त, राजभवन की ओर से वर्तमान में चल रही विकास योजनाओं पर भी चर्चा की गई।

माननीय राज्यपाल ने इस अवसर पर पूर्व राज्यपाल के उत्तम स्वास्थ्य, सुख-समृद्धि और उज्ज्वल भविष्य की मंगलकामनाएँ व्यक्त कीं हैं।
