The Hon’ble Governor of Sikkim, Shri Om Prakash Mathur, extends his heartiest greetings to the people of Sikkim and especially to the Muslim community on the auspicious occasion of Eid-Ul-Fitr (Ramzan Eid).

In his message, the Hon’ble Governor expressed, “The holy month of Ramzan holds profound significance, emphasizing inner purification through fasting, prayers, and acts of charity. This sacred day serves as a reminder for us to rededicate ourselves to the service of humanity, as taught by the Prophet Muhammad”.

He further said, “Let us embrace the spirit of unity, peace, and harmony, transcending barriers of caste, religion, and region. May this blessed festival inspire us to foster mutual respect, understanding, and brotherhood in our diverse society.”
Conveying his warm wishes to all, the Hon’ble Governor added, “I extend my heartfelt ‘Eid Mubarak’ to everyone. May this festive occasion bring joy, prosperity, and blessings to all.”
