Flower show at Raj Bhavan

The Hon’ble Governor initiated the unveiling of the Sikkimese Zen garden and released balloons to commemorate the occasion. The ceremony saw the esteemed presence of dignitaries, including the Hon’ble Chief Minister, Shri Prem Singh Tamang, and Union Minister of State for DoNER, Shri BL Verma, alongside other ministers, heads of departments, and dignitaries.

The “New Sikkimese Garden” featured an array of attractions, including a themed children’s train, a captivating Sikkim orchid exhibition, tulips, and a garden created by the driver fraternity of the Raj Bhavan family. Additionally, the event showcased a thrilling zip line arranged by the tourism department. Stalls representing various government units and Self Help Groups were also set up, exhibiting organic products of Sikkim, banking services, as well as central and state schemes.

This initiative, led by the Hon’ble Governor, epitomizes a collective commitment towards the advancement and prosperity of Sikkim, reflecting a harmonious blend of nature’s beauty and human ingenuity.
