On the auspicious occasion of Gandhi Jayanti and the birth anniversary of Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri, the Hon’ble Governor of Sikkim, Shri Om Prakash Mathur paid homage by offering traditional Sikkimese khadas and floral tributes at the statue of Mahatma Gandhi and the portrait of Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri at Raj Bhavan today.

Shri JD Bhutia, Secretary to the Hon’ble Governor, Shri Khemraj Bhattarai, Additional Secretary to the Hon’ble Governor, along with officers and staff of Raj Bhavan were present on the occasion.

आज राष्ट्र पिता महात्मा गांधी एवं पूर्व प्रधानमंत्री श्री लाल बहादुर शास्त्री जी की जयंती के पावन अवसर पर सिक्किम के माननीय राज्यपाल श्री ओम प्रकाश माथुर ने राजभवन परिसर में स्थित प्रतिमा एवं चित्र पर माल्य अर्पण कर श्रद्धांजलि अर्पित की।
इस दौरान राजभवन के सचिव श्री जिग्मी दोर्जी भूटिया सहित अन्य अधिकारियों एवं कर्मचारियों की उपस्थिति रही।
