22.11.2024 : The Vice Chancellor and Registrar of Sikkim Professional University called the Hon’ble Governor of Sikkim at Raj Bhavan today.

The Vice Chancellor of Sikkim Professional University (SPU), Prof. (Dr.) Hardeo Singh Yadav, and Registrar, Prof. (Dr.) Ramesh Kumar Rawat, called the Hon’ble Governor of Sikkim, Shri Om Prakash Mathur at Raj Bhavan today.

During the meeting, the Vice Chancellor briefed the Hon’ble Governor about the contributions of Sikkim Professional University, Gangtok, in various academic domains. Prof. (Dr.) Hardeo Singh Yadav also highlighted the university’s role in imparting quality education in professional fields such as Nursing, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, and Medical Lab Technology, in addition to its offerings in Arts and Sciences disciplines.

Further Prof. Yadav extended an invitation to the Hon’ble Governor for eighth convocation of university scheduled to be held in the month of December.
