On the occasion of Christmas, Hon’ble Governor of Sikkim, Shri Om Prakash Mathur extended season’s greetings and best wishes to the people of Sikkim.
In his message the Hon’ble Governor said, “Merry Christmas to the people of Sikkim. This is festival of sharing happiness, love and forgiveness as preached by Jesus Christ. Let us also strengthen the spirit of humanity and brotherhood among all communities living together in the state. May Christmas bring more happiness and development to our State. The occasion reminds us the life and teachings of Jesus Christ and how it has shaped the destiny of mankind over centuries. It also reminds us of the love and compassion of Jesus Christ towards mankind. May the ideals of Jesus Christ show us the way of living and continue to spread the message of love, affection, peace and harmony.”

सिक्किम के माननीय राज्यपाल श्री ओम प्रकाश माथुर ने क्रिसमस के पावन पर्व पर सिक्किम वासियों को हार्दिक शुभकामनाएँ और बधाई दी हैं |
अपने संदेश में माननीय राज्यपाल ने कहा, “प्रभु यीशु मसीह ने संसार को प्रेम, दया, करुणा और क्षमा का दिव्य संदेश दिया है जो हमारे समाज को एकजुट और समृद्ध बनाने के लिए प्रेरित करता है।
सिक्किम, जो अपनी सांस्कृतिक विविधता के लिए जाना जाता है, सदा से विभिन्न धर्मों और समुदायों के बीच सौहार्द और भाईचारे का प्रतीक रहा है।
आइए, इस अवसर पर प्रभु यीशु मसीह द्वारा दिए गए उपदेशों को अपने जीवन में अपनाते हुए हम उन लोगों की मदद करें जो जरूरतमंद हैं| हम सब सिक्किमवासी एकजुटता के साथ समाज में शांति, प्रेम और एकता का संदेश फैलाएं और एक बेहतर समाज का निर्माण करें।
