Hon’ble Governor of Sikkim, Shri Om Prakash Mathur expresses profound grief on the passing of former Prime Minister Shri Manmohan Singh.

“He was a visionary economist and statesman whose humble leadership and integrity shaped the nation’s journey on the global stage. His contributions to India’s economic growth, democratic values, and commitment to peace will be remembered as an enduring legacy.

With the passing of Shri Manmohan Singh, the nation has lost one of its most eminent personalities. The Hon’ble Governor expresses his deepest condolences to his family, friends and countless admirers”.

सिक्किम के माननीय राज्यपाल श्री ओम प्रकाश माथुर ने माननीय पूर्व प्रधानमंत्री श्री मनमोहन सिंह जी के निधन पर गहरा दुख व्यक्त किया है।
अपने शोक संदेश में माननीय राज्यपाल ने कहा, ” एक दूरदर्शी अर्थशास्त्री एवं राजनेता पूर्व प्रधानमंत्री श्री मनमोहन सिंह जी के निधन का समाचार अत्यंत दुःखद। राष्ट के प्रति उनकी प्रतिबद्धता को सदा याद किया जाएगा।
राज्यपाल ने कहा कि मेरा सौभाग्य था कि मैं उनके साथ राज्यसभा में रहा और उनकी कार्यशैली को नजदीक से देखा, आर्थिक उदारीकरण एवं भारतीय अर्थव्यवस्था को वैश्विक बाजार से जोड़ने व आर्थिक सुधारों के लिये उनके प्रयास हमेशा याद किये जायेंगे
