01.03.2025 : A delegation from the Tibetan Settlement Office and representatives of the Tibetan community of Gangtok called on the Hon’ble Governor of Sikkim at Raj Bhavan today.

Marking the celebration of Losar, which signifies the beginning of a new year with prayers, traditions, and festive celebrations (Lho meaning “year” and Sar meaning “new”), a delegation from the Tibetan Settlement Office and representatives of the Tibetan community of Gangtok called on the Hon’ble Governor of Sikkim, Shri Om Prakash Mathur, at Raj Bhavan today.

During the meeting, they extended warm wishes to the Hon’ble Governor on this joyous occasion. The Hon’ble Governor reciprocated and conveyed his heartfelt greetings and best wishes on Losar.
