15.04.2025 : The Chairman of the SSCU and President of the Sahakar Bharati Sikkim State Unit, Shri Mangal Jit Rai called on the Hon’ble Governor of Sikkim at Raj Bhavan today.

The Chairman of the Sikkim State Cooperative Union and President of the Sahakar Bharati Sikkim State Unit, Shri Mangal Jit Rai called on the Hon’ble Governor of Sikkim, Shri Om Prakash Mathur, at Raj Bhavan today.
During the meeting, various discussions were held regarding the training programs conducted by the Sikkim State Cooperative Union, particularly those aimed at empowering women cooperatives, along with other initiatives under the Sikkim Cooperative movement. The Chairman also apprised the Hon’ble Governor of the supply of milk by the Sikkim Milk Union to the Army units stationed in Sikkim and entire North Bengal.
The Hon’ble Governor emphasised that cooperatives are necessary for socio-economic development and urged the representatives to continue working with dedication. He further extended his best wishes to the Sikkim State Cooperative Union and the Sahakar Bharati Sikkim State Unit for their future endeavours.
