On the joyous occasion of Shyadar Pidar, the Hon’ble Governor of Sikkim, Shri Om Prakash Mathur extends his warm greetings and best wishes to the people of Sikkim.
In his greetings message, Hon’ble Governor said “Shyadar Pidar, popularly known as Ubhauli Puja, is associated with our Sunuwar brethren and is integral part of our agrarian culture and tradition. The occasion reinforces our commitment and responsibility towards mother nature, who is worshipped as the ultimate source of our happiness, health and well being. We pray to mother nature for continued blessings, bountiful harvest and general well being of all.
May this occasion strengthen our collective resolve to nurture and protect Mother Nature, paving the way for a sustainable and brighter tomorrow. In the face of the ongoing global crises, may we always stand united for the greater cause of humanity, working together to build an inclusive, compassionate, and resilient society for generations to come”.
सिक्किम के माननीय राज्यपाल श्री ओम प्रकाश माथुर ने संपूर्ण सिक्किम वासियों को ‘बुद्ध पूर्णिमा’ और विशेषकर सुनूवार समुदाय को ‘श्यादार पीदर’ की हार्दिक बधाई और शुभकामनाएं दीं हैं।
माननीय राज्यपाल ने कहा “श्यादार पिदर जिसे ‘उभौली पूजा’ के नाम से भी जाना जाता है,यह त्यौहार प्रकृति माँ के प्रति हमारी प्रतिबद्धता को पुष्ट करता है |यह शुभ अवसर सुनवार समुदाय की समृद्ध सांस्कृतिक विरासत और परंपराओं का जश्न है।
इस अवसर पर मैं सिक्किम के लोगों से स्थानीय संस्कृति को संरक्षित करने और बढ़ावा देने का आग्रह करता हूं। यह अवसर हमारी समग्र संस्कृति को समृद्ध करने और सभी सिक्किम वासियों के बीच शांति ,समृद्धि और सद्भाव स्थापित करने का अवसर प्रदान करता है |
साथ ही कामना करता हूँ कि भगवान बुद्ध के अहिंसा, शांति, सत्य एवं करुणा के संदेश संपूर्ण मानवता को सदा प्रेरित करते रहे।
आइए हम एकता, विविधता और सांस्कृतिक समृद्धि की भावना का जश्न मनाएं जो हमारे सुनौलो, समृद्ध और समर्थ राज्य को परिभाषित करती है।”
