The Hon’ble Governor of Sikkim, Shri Om Prakash Mathur, has extended his heartiest congratulations to the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Sikkim, Shri Prem Singh Tamang, and the State Government on the successful completion of one year of its second term in office.
On this joyous occasion, the Hon’ble Governor stated that this milestone reflects the public’s trust, the government’s visionary approach, and inclusive leadership.
The Hon’ble Governor noted that under the vision of building a “Sunaulo, Samriddha ani Samarth Sikkim” the government has undertaken several commendable initiatives. These efforts have significantly contributed to the state’s sustainable development, cultural prosperity, and overall citizen’s welfare.
The Hon’ble Governor has also noted that this year marks the Golden Jubilee of Sikkim’s statehood, a significant occasion that highlights the state’s rich cultural heritage, social harmony, and the resilience of its people.
Further, the Hon’ble Governor expressed gratitude to the Central Government, under the leadership of the Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, for its continued support and cooperation in Sikkim’s development journey.
Additionally, he expresses hope that the Government of Sikkim will continue to strive with the same dedication and energy in the years ahead and take the state to even greater heights.
माननीय राज्यपाल की वर्तमान सरकार को सफलतापूर्वक दूसरे कार्यकाल की एक वर्ष पूर्णता पर बधाई
सिक्किम के माननीय राज्यपाल श्री ओम प्रकाश माथुर ने माननीय मुख्यमंत्री श्री प्रेम सिंह तामांग के नेतृत्व में राज्य की वर्तमान सरकार को सफलतापूर्वक एक वर्ष और दूसरे कार्यकाल की पूर्णता पर बधाई दी है। माननीय राज्यपाल ने इस अवसर पर कहा कि यह उपलब्धि जनविश्वास, दूरदर्शिता और समावेशी नेतृत्व को दर्शाता है।
राज्यपाल महोदय ने कहा कि सरकार ने ‘सुनौलो, समृद्ध अनि समर्थ सिक्किम’के निर्माण हेतु कई उल्लेखनीय कार्य किए हैं, जो राज्य के सतत विकास, सांस्कृतिक समृद्धि और नागरिक कल्याण को सुनिश्चित करने की दिशा में महत्वपूर्ण कदम हैं।
राज्यपाल महोदय ने यह भी उल्लेख किया कि इस वर्ष सिक्किम राज्य स्थापना के 50 गौरवशाली वर्ष पूरे हुए हैं, और यह राज्य की सांस्कृतिक विरासत ,एकता और सिक्किम के लोगों की प्रतिबद्धता का प्रतीक है।
इस अवसर पर माननीय राज्यपाल ने केंद्र सरकार, विशेष रूप से माननीय प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेंद्र मोदी जी को, उनके निरंतर सहयोग और मार्गदर्शन के लिए धन्यवाद दिया है।
माननीय राज्यपाल ने आशा व्यक्त की है कि सरकार आगामी वर्षों में भी इसी ऊर्जा और समर्पण के साथ राज्य को और अधिक नई ऊंचाइयों तक ले जाएगी।
