13.10.2025 : His Eminence Khenchen Rigzin Dorjee Rinpochee called on the Hon’ble Governor of Sikkim at Raj Bhavan today.
Founder and President of the Nyingma Institute of Higher Buddhist Studies and Research Centre, Martam, East Sikkim, His Eminence Khenchen Rigzin Dorjee Rinpochee, along with Principal, Shri Sangay Palzang Lepcha, Additional Political Secretary to the Hon’ble Chief Minister, Shri Tshering Wangchuk Lepcha, and the Sangha members of the institute, called on the Hon’ble Governor of Sikkim, Shri Om Prakash Mathur, at Raj Bhavan today.
During the meeting, His Eminence presented the book on “Rigzin Sordup”, the precious teachings of Gyalwa Lhatusn Chenpo which holds deep spiritual significance for Sikkim, as it is believed to safeguard the land and its people through blessings of peace, harmony, and protection. Rooted in the Nyingma tradition, it reflects Sikkim’s rich Buddhist heritage and its enduring connection to Guru Padmasambhava’s hidden treasures to the Hon’ble Governor, along with a sacred statue of Lord Buddha, with blessing for Hon’ble Governor’s good health, long life, and successful tenure.
Further, He also extended a formal invitation to the Hon’ble Governor to grace the upcoming graduation ceremony of the Institute and for inauguration of the new hostel and pillar for senior monks.
The Hon’ble Governor conveyed his deepest appreciation for the sacred offerings and blessings bestowed upon him. He expressed his reverence for the rich spiritual heritage of Sikkim and commended the Institute’s invaluable contribution towards preserving and promoting Buddhist studies and monastic education.
Further, he also conveyed his best wishes for the continued success of the Institute in nurturing future generations rooted in wisdom, compassion, and service to humanity.
आज राजभवन, गंगटोक में न्यिंगमा संस्थान के संस्थापक एवं अध्यक्ष पुज्य रिगजिन दोरजी रिनपोछे ने सिक्किम के माननीय राज्यपाल श्री ओम प्रकाश माथुर से शिष्टाचार भेंट की।
भेंट के दौरान पुज्य रिनपोछे ने माननीय राज्यपाल को न्यिंगमा संस्थान, मार्तम में आयोजित होने वाले 29वें दीक्षांत समारोह तथा वरिष्ठ भिक्षुओं के लिए नवीन छात्रावास एवं स्तंभ के उद्घाटन कार्यक्रम में मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में सम्मिलित होने हेतु निमंत्रित किया।
माननीय राज्यपाल ने न्यिंगमा संस्थान द्वारा किए जा रहे कार्यों की जानकारी प्राप्त की।
