Guv extends greetings on Children’s Day

The Governor of Sikkim, Shri Om Prakash Mathur has extended greetings the people of Sikkim, particularly children on the occasion of Children’s Day.

In his greetings message, the Governor said, “Children and youth are the torch bearers of our nation. They are the driving force and future custodians of our country, they bear the responsibility in realising the vision of Viksit Bharat @2047. We must, therefore,
provide our children with the best opportunities to harness their potential and imbibe good values, so that they become ideal citizens of our nation.

On this special occasion, I call upon every parents to take a pledge to build a harmonious society which is empathetic to the healthy up-bringing of our children.

Let us all come together to ensure that every child receives education, safety, and respect, so that they can fulfill their dreams. My heartiest greetings and best wishes to all the lovable children of the country.”

सिक्किम के माननीय राज्यपाल श्री ओम प्रकाश माथुर ने माननीय मुख्यमंत्री श्री प्रेम सिंह तामांग के अस्वस्थ होने पर चिंता व्यक्त की है और उनके शीघ्र पूर्ण स्वस्थ होने की कामना की है।
राज्यपाल महोदय ने अस्पताल प्रबंधन एवं मुख्यमंत्री जी के निजी सचिव से उनकी स्वास्थ्य स्थिति की जानकारी ली है।

राज्यपाल महोदय ने कहा,
“ माननीय मुख्यमंत्री श्री प्रेम सिंह तमांग जी कल रात्रि कुछ अस्वस्थ हो गए थे। मुझे यह जानकर संतोष हुआ कि अब उनकी स्थिति बेहतर है। मैं प्रभु से प्रार्थना करता हूँ कि वे मुख्यमंत्री जी को शीघ्र पूर्ण स्वास्थ्य लाभ प्रदान करें।
