23.12.2025 : Dr. Sunil Prasad paid a courtesy call on the Governor of Sikkim, Shri Om Prakash Mathur at Lok Bhavan.

A young author, Dr. Sunil Prasad from Jorethang under Namchi district paid a courtesy call on the Governor of Sikkim, Shri Om Prakash Mathur at Lok Bhavan today.

During the courtesy meeting, Dr. Sunil presented a copy of his book
‘Indian Models of Community Development’ to the Governor.

The book has been edited by Dr. Sunil Prasad and Prof. Bishnu Mohan Dash which was published by Bloomsbury Publishing House. This publication is comprehensive analysis of the diverse models and approaches to community development in India and provides valuable insights into the field of social work.

On the occasion, the Governor appreciated the young author for insightful work and emphasized the importance of engaging the youth in shaping the future of the nation. Further, the Governor extended his best wishes for his continued success.
