The Lok Bhavan, Sikkim bid farewell to ADC to Governor, Shri Santosh Baniya during a programme held at Conference Hall of New Lok Bhavan today.
The farewell programme was graced by the Governor, Shri Om Prakash Mathur, Commissioner cum Secretary, Shri Jitendra Singh Raje, all senior officers and staff of Lok Bhavan.
Shri Santosh Baniya served the office of the Governor as ADC for 1 year and 6 months.
The Governor while felicitating the outgoing officer with traditional khada said that Shri Santosh Baniya has earned the love and affection of the entire Lok Bhavan family.
Commissioner cum Secretary, Shri Jitendra Singh Raje lauded the outgoing ADC’s professional and human qualities. He expressed appreciation of the sincere devotion with which Shri Santosh Baniya has performed his duties and wished him high success in his future career.
Shri Santosh Baniya expressed gratitude to the Governor, Commissioner cum Secretary to Governor, all officers as well as the staff of Lok Bhavan for providing an environment where he could grow as a police officer and as human being.
He expressed appreciation and gratitude to all the officers and staff for making his stay at Lok Bhavan a memorable one.

सिक्किम के माननीय राज्यपाल श्री ओम प्रकाश माथुर की उपस्थिति में आज लोकभवन, सिक्किम में एडीसी श्री संतोष बानिया जी के विदाई समारोह का आयोजन किया गया।
समारोह में राज्यपाल महोदय ने श्री संतोष बानिया जी को पारंपरिक खादा अर्पित कर उनके लंबे समय तक लोक सेवा में दिए गए योगदान को सम्मानित किया।
माननीय राज्यपाल के आयुक्त सह सचिव श्री जितेंद्र सिंह राजे जी ने समारोह में अपने विचार रखे और श्री संतोष बानिया जी के कार्यकाल की सराहना की।
तत्पश्चात् पारंपरिक रीति-रिवाज के अनुसार माननीय राज्यपाल के आयुक्त सह सचिव , राज्यपाल महोदय के सम्मानित OSD, PS एवं अन्य अधिकारियों एवं कर्मचारियों ने श्री संतोष बानिया जी को खादा अर्पण कर उनका हार्दिक सम्मान किया।
इसके बाद श्री संतोष बानिया जी ने अपना उद्बोधन प्रस्तुत किया, जिसमें उन्होंने अपने सहयोगियों, अधिकारियों और कर्मचारियों का आभार व्यक्त किया।
समारोह के समापन अवसर पर सभी उपस्थितजनों ने श्री संतोष बानिया जी के उज्ज्वल भविष्य की शुभकामनाएँ व्यक्त कीं।
इस अवसर पर लोक भवन के अधिकारी, कर्मचारी तथा अन्य गणमान्य व्यक्ति उपस्थित रहे।
