The Secretary of the Social Welfare Department, Smt. Sarika Pradhan today called on the Governor of Sikkim, Shri Om Prakash Mathur at Lok Bhavan.

During the courtesy meeting, the Secretary extended a formal invitation to the Governor to participate in the 135th birth anniversary celebration of Bharat Ratna, Dr. B. R Ambedkar as the chief guest on 14 April, 26 at the Sikkim Legislative Assembly, Gangtok.

The Governor accepted the invitation and conveyed his best wishes for the success of the Ambedkar jayanti

सिक्किम के माननीय राज्यपाल श्री ओम प्रकाश माथुर से आज लोकभवन सिक्किम में सामाजिक कल्याण विभाग की सचिव श्रीमती सारिका प्रधान ने शिष्टाचार भेंट की। इस अवसर पर सचिव ने राज्यपाल महोदय को भारत रत्न डॉ. भीमराव अम्बेडकर की 135वीं जयंती समारोह में मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में शामिल होने का आमंत्रण पत्र सौंपा।
यह समारोह 14 अप्रैल 2026 को सिक्किम विधानसभा में आयोजित किया जाएगा।

राज्यपाल महोदय ने आमंत्रण स्वीकार करते हुए कार्यक्रम की सफलता के लिए शुभकामनाएं दीं।
