A team from the Department of Ayush led by Advisor, Shri A. K. Ghatani called on the Governor of Sikkim, Shri Om Prakash Mathur at Lok Bhavan here today.

During the courtesy meeting, the delegation extended a formal invitation to the Governor to grace the celebrations of the 12th International Day of Yoga as the chief guest.

The International Day of Yoga programme is scheduled to be held on 21st June, 2026 at Ridge Park, Gangtok.

The Governor graciously accepted the invitation and conveyed his best wishes for the successful conduct of the programme.

The Advisor was accompanied by the Secretary of the Department of Ayush, Ms. Suchitra Rasaily and other officials.
