On the auspicious occasion of Vishwakarma Puja, Sikkim Governor Shri Om Prakash Mathur extended his warm greetings and best wishes to the people of Sikkim.
In his message, the Governor said “On this auspicious day, I offer my prayers to Bhagwan Vishwakarma, the divine architect. According to Hindu beliefs Lord Vishwakarma is revered as the divine architect and craftsman and known as the celestial designer of the universe and master creator.
Vishwakarma Puja reflects the reverence and respect for art, craftsmanship and skills. On this day, artists, craftsmen, engineers, and workers from various industries are recognised for their skills. May Lord Vishwakarma’s blessings guide us in building a prosperous Sikkim and a thriving India across all sectors.”
The Governor also acknowledged the contributions of craftsmen, artisans, workers, and working professionals in the state, stating that their hard work, skills, and creativity form an important foundation for social development and nation-building.

“विश्वकर्मा पूजा के पावन अवसर पर, मैं समस्त सिक्किम वासियों को हार्दिक बधाई और शुभकामनाएं देता हूँ।
हिंदू धर्म मान्यता अनुसार भगवान विश्वकर्मा को ब्रह्मांड का मुख्य वास्तुकार और सृजन का देवता माना गया है। यह पर्व कला, शिल्प, विज्ञान और तकनीकी कौशल के प्रति हमारी श्रद्धा को प्रकट करता है।
इस विशेष अवसर पर, मैं राज्य के सभी कुशल शिल्पकारों, कारीगरों, श्रमिक भाइयों-बहनों और सभी कर्मयोगियों को विशेष रूप से शुभकामनाएं प्रेषित करता हूँ। आपकी कड़ी मेहनत और रचनात्मकता ही हमारे समाज के विकास और राष्ट्र निर्माण का मुख्य आधार है।
आइए, इस अवसर पर हम सब मिलकर अपनी कार्यक्षमता और रचनात्मकता को नई ऊंचाइयों पर ले जाते हुए राज्य को और अधिक प्रगति के मार्ग पर प्रशस्त करने का संकल्प लें।
