03.11.2026 : Shri Silash Tamang who has being selected for the prestigious “Kendriya Grihmantri Dakshata Padak 2026” paid a courtesy call on the Hon’ble Governor of Sikkim at Lok Bhavan today.

Sikkim Police Inspector (PI), Shri Silash Tamang who has being selected for the prestigious “Kendriya Grihmantri Dakshata Padak 2026” under the Investigation category paid a courtesy call on the Hon’ble Governor of Sikkim, Shri Dushyant Gautam at Lok Bhavan today.

During the courtesy meeting, the Hon’ble Governor congratulated Shri Silash Tamang on being selected for this prestigious national honour and appreciated his outstanding service, dedication and integrity.

The Governor stated that this achievement is a matter of pride not only for the Sikkim Police but also for the entire state. He said “This esteemed recognition honours his exceptional dedication, compassion and service. His achievement is a moment of great pride for Sikkim and an inspiration to many.”

The Union Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has recently announced a total of 490 police officers and personnel from states, UTs, Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) and Central Police Organisations (CPOs) for the Kendriya Grihmantri Dakshata Padak 2026 in recognition of their outstanding contributions to policing, security, investigation and forensic science.

प्रतिष्ठित ‘केंद्रीय गृह मंत्री दक्षता पदक 2026’ के लिए चुने गए गंगटोक ट्रैफिक पुलिस के इंस्पेक्टर श्री सिलाश तामांग ने सिक्किम के माननीय राज्यपाल श्री दुष्यन्त गौतम से आज लोकभवन में शिष्टाचार भेंट की।
इस भेंट के दौरान माननीय राज्यपाल ने श्री सिलाश तामांग को इस राष्ट्रीय स्तर के सम्मान के लिए बधाई दी और उनके उत्कृष्ट कार्य की सराहना की।
राज्यपाल महोदय ने कहा कि उनकी यह उपलब्धि न केवल सिक्किम पुलिस बल्कि पूरे राज्य के लिए गौरव की बात है और यह अन्य पुलिस कर्मियों को भी निष्ठा व ईमानदारी के साथ कर्तव्य निभाने के लिए प्रेरित करेगी।
